Workshops in March!

The sun is shining and Spring is round the corner, so we are sprucing up our homes and hats at Crafty Pint and getting ready for Easter at the end of March.  We have three lovely workshops coming up in March…

Decoupage with Amelia at the Tooting Tram and Social Club

Saturday 2nd March – 2pm – 5pm – NOW FULLY BOOKED

With Spring around the corner, breathe new life into your home with our decoupage workshop.  We are very pleased to have one of our very talented local artists, Amelia Critchlow, running this workshop.  Amelia uses collage in her work and regularly exhibits in galleries around London and is even about to open her own art space! So we are very excited that she has made time for us to come along and share her skill and knowledge.

Decoupage an ornament of your choice with collage queen and artist Amelia Critchlow.   Bring in a lampstand, frame, box, small table or magazine holder that you want to decoupage.  Amelia will provide imagery (wall-paper, maps, magazines, books), ideas and top tips on the skill of decoupage. Spend the afternoon cutting and collaging your chosen item to create a beautiful piece for your home. Varnishing will need to be done at home, but we will provide advice about this.  If you don’t have an ornament we can provide boards for you to use and these can be taken home to hang on the wall!

Our Tooting workshops take place at the very wonderful Tram and Social Club.  Our workshops cost £20pp and all tools and materials are provided along with homemade cakes.  Pre-booking is highly recommended as places can go quickly. Easter egg cosies and decorations at Ben’s Canteen, Clapham/Battersea

Monday 4th March – 7pm to 10pm – STILL PLACES AVAILABLE!

Take inspiration from our vintage easter card collection to design and make your own set of super cute easter egg cosies. Think fluffy bunnies, lambs and chicks or urban foxes and squirrels.  Learn how to turn your designs into cute appliques and functional homewares and make original and fabulous easter gifts and decorations.

We will bring lots of spring and Easter inspired fabrics for you to choose from as well as lots of fabulous felts, ribbons and trims and templates for you to play with.  The three-hour workshops costs just £20 and includes all materials.  Please email Gillian at Crafty Pint to reserve a place.

Spring hats with Anna at The Railway, Streatham Common – Wednesday 13th March – 7.30pm – STILL PLACES AVAILABLE!

 

Celebrate Spring with our fascinator workshop.  Make hats with Spring or Easter theme, or whatever else you fancy.  Learn how to manipulate fabrics and trims to create 3D structures for beautiful and stylish hats.  We have the very talented hat mistress Anna Jeffries joining us at The Railway.  A regular at the Railway Craft Fairs, we can’t wait to learn the secrets of hat making.
