We are very excited to be teaming up with the wonderful Flaming Nora and lovely people at The Railway Pub to launch Crafty Pint in Streatham. Our first evening workshop will l be Wednesday 13th February from 7.30pm. We will then be holding regular monthly workshops every second Wednesday evening at The Railway Pub by Streatham Common station from 7.30pm.
Our first evening workshop will be the night before Valentines, so we will have a seasonally themed evening with our love token workshop! We will bring fabulous valentines themed fabrics, including kitsch vintage inspired prints and mexican milagro hearts designs. Team these up with beads, sequins and embroidery to make textiles you can give, keep, frame or make into lavender bags or cards.
You can see what we got up to at our last love token’s workshops in Clapham and Tooting on our facebook page.
The workshops cost £20 and all materials and tutors are included. You can drop in on the evening, or if you would like to reserve a place, please email Gillian at Crafty Pint.
As with our other workshops, we will be inviting local artists and designers to run a different workshop each month. We will also have guest speakers and film screenings. The workshops will usually be around £20, and the other events and screenings will be less.
We love our new venue for evening workshops. Take a peek here at this wonderful space which will be ours during our workshops.
