We have all sorts of crafty treats lined up for out July workshops, from mosaics at Ben’s Canteen to saucy summer postcards at the Gorringe Park and needle felting at The Railway.  Take your pick from our crafty offerings from our talented local artists and designers and just drop me an email to book up an afternoon or evening of creative fun. These three-hour workshops costs just £20 and include tuition, examples, inspiration and lots of materials to choose from.  We go out of our way to make sure you have lots of choice so you can play and experiment with a range of materials that you may not have access to at home.  We ensure our groups don’t get to big, and always have enough tutors to provide one-to-one help as well as group demonstrations. Please email Gillian at Crafty Pint if you want to reserve a place, further details of all the workshops are below.

Monday 1st July 7pm to 10pm – Mosaic Making – Ben’s Canteen, Clapham

Lovely mosaic artist Concetta Perot will be showing us the beauty of broken glass and pottery and transforming these into tiles and wall hangings.  Concetta’s work is very much in demand and her classes are often booked up, so we are are very lucky to have her join us at Ben’s Canteen for our Monday evening workshop. Concetta will demonstrate mosaic skills and show you how to make your tiles into coasters and hanging decorations. Get some inspiration from our last workshop with Concetta.

Ben’s Canteen, is on St John’s Hill, just a hop and skip up the road from Clapham Junction.  Ben is a big fan of Etsy and all things handmade, reflected in the decor of his very lovely cafe-bar serving delicious coffee, yummy food, and a decadent range of gin!

Saturday 6th July 2pm-5pm – Saucy summer postcards –  Gorringe Park Pub, Tooting
BottomsUp

Join Flaming Nora for an afternoon of saucy stitchery at our regular Tooting workshops!  We all know them, we titter at them, we all love them, now’s your chance to make  your own Saucy Seaside postcards.  Spend the afternoon mixing up collages of fabrics, trims and papers to make some old fashioned summery postcards.  They are fun to make and will have you sniggering all day long!  We will bring our collection of spots, stripes and vintage fabrics and trims as well as a selection of seaside images for you to choose from. Make one or a set! Send them to your friends or frame a cheeky pair for your wall.  Jane is an amazingly talented seam mistress, she makes costumes for west end theatre productions as well as her own fabulous creations.  She will have lots of nifty techniques and skills to share at this perfect summer workshop.
