January 30, 2013 at 16:31 Leave a comment

With Spring around the corner, breathe new life into your home with our decoupage workshop.  We are very pleased to have one of our very talented local artists, Amelia Critchlow, running this workshop.  Amelia uses collage in her work and regularly exhibits in galleries around London and is even about to open her own art space! So we are very excited that she has made time for us to come along and share her skill and knowledge.

Artists Book Workshop June 2011 b&w

Decoupage an ornament of your choice with collage queen and artist Amelia Critchlow.   Bring in a lampstand, frame, box, small table or magazine holder that you want to decoupage.  Amelia will provide imagery (wall-paper, maps, magazines, books), ideas and top tips on the skill of decoupage. Spend the afternoon cutting and collaging your chosen item to create a beautiful piece for your home. Varnishing will need to be done at home, but we will provide advice about this.

Our Tooting workshops take place at the very wonderful Tram and Social Club, the first Saturday of the month from 2pm to 5pm.  The workshops are led by local designers, artists and makers who bring a wealth of experience and love of their craft to their workshops as well as a fabulous choice of materials.

Our workshops cost £20pp and all tools and materials (but please bring an object to cover with you!) are provided along with homemade cakes.  Pre-booking is highly recommended as places can go quickly. If you are not sure what types of objects are suitable for decoupage, or need help finding something, please email Gillian who can advise you.

Fully Booked!
