Make beautiful glass coasters, suncatchers, decorations…

The lovely Sally Dunnett is joining us to run our next workshop in August.  Sally works with fused glass, working with different shaped coloured glass to to create decorations and homewares.  Sally will talk you through what happens inside the kiln when glass is layered, moulded and fused, and will show you the effects that can be achieved by stacking different materials and colours.
You will choose from Sally’s raw glass collection to design and  assemble your own tile which will be taken away and fired, ready for you to collect the next day.  The tiles can be used as coasters, paperweights or look beautiful in the window with the sun streaming through the bright coloured glass.  Sally will also show you how to make the lovely star decorations above.  They make beautiful sun catchers or even christmas decorations.
As with all our workshops, no experience is needed and all tools, materials and home baked cakes are provided. Sally’s new website is under construction, but you can see some of her amazing work here.
