Valentine's workshops with Crafty Pint

Feel the love with our Valentine’s themed workshops this February.  We have a soft spot for Valentine’s at Crafty Pint, but not for candlelit dinners for two!  Instead we like to celebrate our love of making and giving handmade presents to our loved ones, friends and family.  At our Valentine’s workshops you will be able to make Valentine’s themed mosaics or textiles to give, or show yourself some love and treat yourself to something to keep!

This year we have three Valentines workshops to choose from! The return of Concetta’s popular mosaic workshop at our regular Tooting Tram and Social Crafty Pint, and new evening workshops at Ben’s Canteen in Battersea/Clapham and the first of our Streatham Crafty Pint’s with Flaming Nora at The Railway.  At our evening workshops we will bring our amazing collection of vintage Valentines cards to inspire you along with our Valentine’s themed fabrics.  We will show you some easy but effective embroidery and applique techniques so you can sew your own love tokens and decorate them with beads, sequins and buttons. STOP PRESS!!  SATURDAY’S MOSAIC WORKSHOP IS NOW FULLY BOOKED! But don’t worry, we still have places at our evening workshops!

Choose from mosaics or textiles, afternoon or evening and take your pick from Tooting, Battersea or Clapham.  Please email Gillian at Crafty Pint to reserve a place.  You are welcome to drop-in on the day, but please check our website for availability.  We can usually fit people in on the day/evening, but workshops sometimes sell out. These three-hour workshops cost £20 and include tutors and all materials and tools (and cakes at the Tooting ones!).  All our workshops are at informal sociable venues where you can also enjoy food, drink and music.  Details of each venue and times are listed below.

Lovely Concetta from Glittering Shards returns to Crafty Pint with her amazing mosaic workshop.  She will demonstrate her magical mosaic skills and show you how to make beautiful mosaic hearts to turn into brooches, hangings, coasters and pendants. Perfect for sharing with a loved one or a treat for your self.
