We are very excited about our summer programme, and since the sun is shining at last, thought it about time to share it with you!
Our 2nd June Crafty Pint coincides with the Diamond Jubilee weekend, so what better way to prepare than joining us for an afternoon making rosettes and brooches to adorn yourself with and flags to wave at passers by! You can even make some mini bunting to wear or decorate with.
On 7th July we have the super talented Lucy McDonald joining us from Moll & Mostin to show us the art of making paper flowers and turning them into beautiful bouquets. Perfect for summer weddings and parties.
The lovely Carol returns on 4th August with an opportunity to get our hands on some felting techniques. She will be showing us how to create fabulous felted textiles and turn them into purses and wallets.
And on 8th September, in response to your requests for a paper cutting workshop, the amazing Eileen White will be sharing her skills with us. I saw her work at the Festival of Britain last year and it is just so imaginative and beautiful.
All our workshops take place at the brilliant Tooting Tram & Social, 46-48 Mitcham Road, London SW17 9NA. Nearest Tube – Tooting Broadway on the Northern Line - Map.
The three hour workshops run from 2pm to 5pm. Workshops cost £15 including materials and homemade cakes. No previous experience is needed and children are welcome with an adult.
If you would like to reserve a place at any of our workshops, please email Gillian at Crafty Pint.
